Learn how to view Britain’s countryside from above! Microlight flying is one of the most affordable ways to get airborne. Our factory-built training aircraft has an enclosed cockpit so you can fly in reasonable comfort without the need for special protective clothing.
We fly in Essex, which has some of the best flying weather in the country and we specialise in training on fixed-wing microlight aeroplanes using the popular Thruster series of aircraft. We operate from two different airfields, our club activities take place at a quiet farm strip and most of our training flight (and all our voucher flights) are from a large ex-RAF aerodrome. Both these airfields are easily accessible from London and the major road network. [Click here] for more details of how to find us.
[Click here] to visit our online shop and book a trial lesson voucher direct with us and avoid the expense of going through an ‘Adventure’ provider.
We are able to offer training from your first air experience flight through to your microlight pilot’s NPPL
Our aircraft which are used for the Air Experience flights are equipped with full dual controls which allow you to experience actually flying the aircraft (if you wish and your instructor agrees): your instructor will be able to take control back immediately at any time. You can order a trial lesson from our online shop
If you are wondering what microlight pilots do when they go flying, then read some of the articles [here] and [here], and [here] is a complete history of our sport.
